Start of something special 🤩
very great project starts with a solid foundation, and in this case, it’s a fresh delivery of raw steel and essential components—unloaded and ready to be transformed. This photo captures the moment the materials hit the ground, marking the start of a hands-on process filled with welding sparks, precise cuts, and craftsmanship. Follow along as we turn these heavy-duty materials into a fully functional, custom-built offset smoker from the ground up.

It starts by getting all of the materials we need, including the massive pipe you see getting unloaded from the trailer. While it looks old and rusty, this pipe is brand new!! We then spend hours cutting the pipe into sections the right size for the smoker we are building. Then we make our base, usually out of heavy-duty box section, to support the weight of the smoker and keep everything level. Once the base is squared and welded, we mount the main chamber and begin fabricating the firebox.

After that, it’s time to cut and hinge the doors, fit the stack, and start piecing together all the key components that bring the smoker to life. Sounds simple, but we spend many of hours detailing these durable, functional and ascetically pleasing masterpiece so you can make the best possible BBQ...
